Brookfield Rail Corporate Affairs Manager Melanie Henley said the company was proud of its long standing association with such a well-loved community event.
“Since 2006 Brookfield Rail has supported and attended the races, and we are delighted to be back on board for what will be another fantastic event,” Ms Henley said.
Held over the first weekend in October, the Kulin Bush Races attract approximately 4,000 people each year and feature art, crafts, novelty events, children’s entertainment and live bands, in addition to the racing action.
All money raised from the event supports important community initiatives. Since 1995, the Kulin Bush Races has put around $1 million back into the local community.
“Not only are the races a great weekend out for the family, they also raise much needed funds for worthy local causes like medical services, education programs and the Royal Flying Doctor Service,” Ms Henley said.
“We wish everyone a safe and happy Kulin Bush Races for 2016.”
