safeworking training

safeworking training

In order to access any area of track in Arc Infrastructure’s network, all relevant employees, contractors and third party users must obtain a track access permit (TAP) appropriate to the activities to be undertaken.

Track access permits are granted following the successful completion of the appropriate safeworking training and rail medical.

Arc's Training department provides safeworking training for all levels of track access permits.  Our training has been designed to cover the safeworking rules and procedures specific to the Arc Infrastructure network.

How to book a safeworking training course

You can book your safeworking course and pay in full via Visa or Mastercard using the online booking portal below.  If you have any queries about your booking please contact our Training department on 08 9212 2916 or email training@arcinfra.com.

Protection Officer Level One and above requires a Justification Form to be submitted prior to booking.

Applying for a track access permit (TAP)

Once the participant has successfully completed the course, their TAP application form and health assessment certificate will be submitted for processing. TAP cards are generally issued within 10 business days, and by default the TAP card will be issued directly to the applicant's employer.  Applicants must not access the rail corridor until they have a valid TAP.

Applicants can submit a current rail health assessment (appropriate to the level of TAP) to training@arcinfra.com.    Click here for more information about authorised health professionals, health assessment forms and TAP accreditation levels.
