Community Grants Program

Arc Infrastructure’s Community Grants Program supports small scale, grassroots initiatives that make a positive impact in the communities along our freight rail network. We are committed to working with local groups who help create safer, healthier and more connected regional communities.

This refreshed program brings our former Community and Regional Partnerships into one Local Partnerships model with a single annual intake. Grants are available to not-for-profit organisations, community groups, schools and individuals delivering projects within communities located on or near our operational rail corridor.

All applications must align with at least one of our four key focus areas. Applicants are encouraged to provide a high-level summary of their initiative and how it supports the focus area.

Rail safety
Projects that improve rail safety awareness or education, reduce risk around the network or help promote safer behaviours near rail.

Emergency services
Initiatives that build preparedness or response capability, including support for volunteer brigades, first response groups or community readiness programs.

Community health and wellbeing
Programs that strengthen mental health, social connection, physical activity or support vulnerable members of the community.

Liveable and sustainable communities
Projects that enhance local amenity, environmental outcomes or cultural vibrancy, and contribute to long term community resilience, pride and connection.

If you have a project that benefits your local community, we invite you to apply during the intake period.
