Arc Infrastructure will be upgrading the pedestrian level crossing and track infrastructure at Toodyay Railway Station in late November, requiring the temporary closure of the crossing.

The upgrade works will take place over three days from:

7am Wednesday, 23 November until 5pm Friday, 25 November

During this time, pedestrians will be redirected to cross the rail line at Harper Road or the overpass at Duke Street (click the link below to view the detour map):

Transwa passengers using the AvonLink, MerredinLink and Prospector services will be able to board and disembark at Toodyay Railway Station, but will not be able to use the pedestrian crossing at the station.

Arc Infrastructure will place message boards near the level crossing in the lead-up to the closure to notify the local community, and will have traffic management contractors on site 24/7 for the duration of the works, to assist and redirect pedestrians.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the local community and train passengers, and look forward to delivering an upgrade which will provide better amenity for users of the pedestrian crossing.
