Arc Infrastructure is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Unwin as its Chief Executive Officer, effective 4 August 2025.

Arc Infrastructure is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Unwin as its Chief Executive Officer, effective 4 August 2025.

Ms Unwin has spent the last six years as CEO of Horizon Power, Western Australia’s regional energy provider, which operates across the energy supply chain from retail and transmission to distribution and generation. In this role, she oversaw the delivery of energy solutions to support regional growth and progressed decarbonisation and digital transformation projects. Ms Unwin previously held leadership roles at CBH Group, Phylogica International and Synergy (now Verve Energy) as well as a number of directorships at Australian Stock Exchange-listed companies.

Arc Infrastructure Chairman Jonathon Sellar said, “Stephanie has a wealth of experience, a strategic mindset and a deep commitment to innovation and excellence. We are excited about the energy and vision she will bring to Arc as we execute on our mission to find new opportunities that will support and strengthen the rail network for the benefit of our customers, partners, communities and Western Australia.”
 
Incoming Arc Infrastructure CEO Stephanie Unwin said, “Arc Infrastructure plays a critical role in driving Western Australia’s economic growth. Arc’s responsibility to provide a reliable, safe and sustainable freight rail network is one that the Company honours. Furthermore, Arc is committed to supporting the state’s growers, miners, businesses and regions who use its network. I look forward to working with Arc’s incredible team of nearly 600 employees to continue delivering for our communities.”
 
Ms Unwin takes over from Nathan Speed, Arc’s General Manager, Commercial, who has been Acting CEO since Murray Cook stepped down in December 2024. He will work closely with Ms Unwin as she moves into her new role.
 
Mr Sellar said, “Nathan has led Arc with dedication, steadiness and a clear focus and we thank him for his contribution and strong leadership.”
 
Stephanie Unwin biography
           
Stephanie Unwin has more than 30 years’ experience across the energy, biotech, commodities and legal industries. She was most recently the CEO of Horizon Power, Western Australia’s regional energy provider, which operates across the energy supply chain from retail and transmission to distribution and generation.
 
During her six years as CEO at Horizon Power, Ms Unwin oversaw the delivery of energy solutions to support regional growth and progressed decarbonisation and digital transformation projects.
 
Ms Unwin previously held leadership roles at CBH Group, Phylogica International and Synergy (now Verve Energy) as well as a number of directorships at Australian Stock Exchange-listed companies.
 
Ms Unwin has extensive experience working with and supporting regional communities. She is highly strategic, commercial and has an impressive track record in executing key projects and leading and motivating large teams. Ms Unwin has a passion for leading and motivating large teams and is well regarded by regulators, investors and industry.
 
Ms Unwin has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Economics from Murdoch University. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School – Advanced Management Program 191. She was admitted to the Bar in Western Australia and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
