Arc Infrastructure has been named as a finalist in two categories of the Australasian Rail Industry (ARI) Awards.
Arc Infrastructure’s Critical Control Verification App, Situational Awareness platform and Kenwick IMT Project have been shortlisted for awards at the upcoming ARI Awards.
The ARI Awards recognise and celebrate individual and company achievements in the rail industry, showcasing examples of excellence and innovation to support its growth and success.
The Critical Control Verification App is a simple mobile app which can be used by our team members when completing their safety risk assessments, to confirm critical controls are in place before commencing work.
The Situational Awareness Platform is a real-time visualisation of a ‘day of operations’ at Arc, built into our GIS system, allowing any member of our team to access information about where and when things are happening across our network.
These two projects have been shortlisted in Safety and Freight Rail Excellence respectively and reflect Arc’s focus on technology and innovation to solve key business issues.
The Kenwick IMT project has also been shortlisted in the Freight Rail Excellence category. The new IMT site has been under construction since late 2023 and is set to be completed and commence operation in the coming months.
2024 is the third consecutive year Arc has been shortlisted in the Freight Rail Excellence category of the ARI awards.
Arc’s Chief Executive Officer Murray Cook said he was delighted the award nominations reflected such a diverse cross section of the business.
“Congratulations to the teams whose hard work has resulted in these nominations,” Murray said.
“I’m delighted to see the effort and resourcing we have invested in innovative technological solutions continue to be recognised nationally.”
“We are also looking forward to the upcoming opening of the Kenwick Intermodal Terminal, which will support the State Government’s ambition to increase rail modal share in WA.”
The ARI award winners will be announced in Sydney on 7 August 2024.
