As Manager of the State’s freight rail network Arc Infrastructure is proud to offer financial support as well as in-kind or monetary donations towards partnerships which makes a measurable difference to our communities.
Recently, Arc was proud to donate equipment and crew to lay 40m of track at the Narrogin Goods Shed site in preparation for the homecoming of the region’s beloved and oldest locomotive and coal carriage, the PM706.
Chief Executive Officer Murray Cook said being able to support important local projects and community groups in our regional and metro communities was another way the business aims to make a real difference.
“Through our regional connections, we endeavour to partner with community organisations to achieve meaningful outcomes, on programs and projects that matter to the locals who live there,” Murray said.
“On average Arc Infrastructure makes a direct contribution to regional WA of around half a million dollars a year in the form of community partnerships, cash and in-kind donations, and volunteering hours.”
Other events and community groups which Arc has recently sponsored include:
- Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres Perenjori Blue Light (Mid West)
- Lower Great Southern Hockey Association (South West)
- Narrogin Hawks Football Club (Central)
- Sawatzky Cup Tennis Tournament (Metro)
- Rottnest Island Railway maintenance (Central)
- Arc Infrastructure Aces team in the Southern Smash T20 (South West)
