An Arc Infrastructure Family Day celebrated our teams in the Goldfields.

Arc Infrastructure’s Kalgoorlie depot held its Family Day late last year before Christmas.

The event brought Arc’s Goldfields based people and their families together to showcase the important work the team does in the region and share information about the business, employee benefits and Principal Partners.

The team undertook a number of demonstrations including welding and displaying how signalling equipment works, with younger visitors able to look at equipment and machinery, potentially inspiring a new generation of rail employees.

Several local businesses were involved in the 2023 Kalgoorlie Family Day, including the Brindy's Coffee Bar van, which kept attendees caffeinated, the Kay-Chlo-La’s Ice Cream Van, which was a hit and face painter ‘Angie the Fairy’, who was able to do detailed art on event-goers of all ages.

Kalgoorlie based Brenton Pritchard from Westpac provided financial education and spoke to our workforce about the discounts and offers they have on a range of banking products and services.

Members of Arc’s People team gave out Arc Infrastructure merchandise goodies and answered all questions relating to payroll, Arc Advantage and other employee benefits.

As a Principal Partner in Arc’s community investment program, there was a dedicated Foodbank WA stall at the event that offered healthy recipe and activity books, along with materials from their recent campaign ‘The Hunger Ghrelins’.

Goldfields Regional Lead Craig Beek thanked everyone for coming and those who assisted in setting up, managing, speaking at, attending and packing up the 2023 Kalgoorlie Family Day.

“Everyone had a great time and we were glad it was such a success,” Mr Beek said.

“The morning was a great way to wrap-up the year and also provided a chance to get together before Christmas.”
