Arc Infrastructure, the manager and operator of Western Australia’s 5,500 kilometre freight rail network, will be undertaking planned track maintenance works.
This will require the closure of the level crossing between Railway Parade and Glen Road in Upper Swan.
The crossing will be closed
from 10pm on Tuesday 21 November until 10am on Thursday 23 November.
The detour for light vehicles is along Railway Parade, Lemon Street, and Orange Avenue, reconnecting with Great Northern Highway from Apple Street. Heavy vehicles that would normally use Great Northern Highway will be redirected to Tonkin Highway.
Please follow all traffic management signage in the area during this period. Electronic message warning signs will be placed in the area to advise of the closure so motorists can plan ahead accordingly.
Nightworks have been scheduled in order to complete these works in the shortest possible time and reduce traffic impacts. Our team will be working continuously throughout the closure period.
