Arc Infrastructure are undertaking essential rail infrastructure maintenance works over a duration of approximately eight (8) months from October 2024 until the end of May 2025.
The works include the removal and replacement of the rail bridge adjacent to Dodson Road. These works are part of Arc’s investment in the rail network in the South West and will ensure the integrity and safety of the State’s rail network, a critical piece of infrastructure for the ongoing development and growth of our economy and communities.
Works will involve the use of cranes, construction equipment (plant), vehicles and personnel from Arc and our contractors. The work will be undertaken between 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Residents can expect there will be some noise and vibration in proximity to the project area as a result of the works.
Arc has collaborated closely with appropriate authorities to obtain all necessary approvals and complete required notifications. All practical efforts have been made to minimise the disturbance to the surrounding residents and the wider community. Please follow all traffic management signage and directions during this period. This will primarily be for pedestrians but will also control vehicles entering and exiting the work site. There will be no impact on local traffic.
Arc Infrastructure is committed to keeping the community informed of works occurring in your region. We appreciate your patience during these works and apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the work, contact Project Engineer Ella Alvani on 0498 811 551 or alternatively email communications@arcinfra.com.
