To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Rail Safety Week in August, Arc Infrastructure is teaming up again with the Constable Care Foundation (CCF) to offer primary schools the chance to win a free excursion to the Constable Care Safety School in Maylands, valued at $698.50.

Arc Infrastructure is committed to ensuring the safety of the communities that surround the freight rail network and is a proud partner of the Constable Care Foundation.

The Constable Care Safety School excursions provide children with hands-on experience in a realistic urban environment, helping them learn vital safety skills across road, rail, pedestrian, bike, and public transport scenarios.

In 2024, 20 schools across metro and regional WA won free excursions, and entries continue to grow each year.

This year Arc will again support winning regional schools near the freight rail network by covering transportation costs, enabling broader participation.

From today, we invite primary schools to submit an entry by clicking here. Each school that enters gets $100 off a future Safety School booking.

Arc Infrastructure Acting CEO Nathan Speed expressed his thanks to the Constable Care Foundation and encouraged primary schools to register their interest in the Safety School excursions.

"We're proud to support Rail Safety Week by partnering with the Constable Care Safety School to offer this exciting opportunity for primary schools.

“Educating young people about rail safety is not just important—it’s essential. By engaging children early, we help them understand how to stay safe around the rail network, building lifelong habits that protect them and others. This initiative is a fun and meaningful way to empower the next generation with the knowledge they need to keep themselves safe," Nathan said.

The competition closes on 17 August, and winners will be announced on 27 August 2025.
