  • Our teams working across the beautiful South West are responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of nearly 500 kilometres of track, playing a vital role in delivering coal, alumina and bauxite from the region to Bunbury and Kwinana Ports for export to global markets.

The South West Main is one of the busiest sections our network and transports products from our customers Alcoa, South32, Griffin Coal, Premier Coal, Cockburn Cement and TransWA.

These customers transport bauxite, alumina, caustic, coal, lime and passengers across our rail freight network. Since Arc Infrastructure was awarded the long-term lease of the network, we've invested over $340 million into our infrastructure throughout the South West and Peel regions.

Beyond our investment in infrastructure, we're committed to contributing to the South West by employing and buying locally, and representing our industry by engaging with the Bunbury Geographe and Collie Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supporting and connecting local businesses across WA.

    our latest news and updates

  • In the South West, we get involved with local communities through employee volunteering, our partnerships with local grassroots associations and actively drive conversation with industry groups to support local businesses and employment.

Over recent years, we have been proud to support a variety of community groups and initiatives including the South West Rail & Heritage Centre, Bunbury Men's Shed, Brunswick Bowls Club, Kalimera House and Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club.

Our partnership with the South West Regional Football Development Council is teaching primary students the importance of physical activity, leadership skills and team work through fun and interactive AFL for Life workshops.

The support will assist the program to extend its reach to approximately 80 schools in 2017.
