Our teams working across the beautiful South West are responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of nearly 500 kilometres of track, playing a vital role in delivering coal, alumina and bauxite from the region to Bunbury and Kwinana Ports for export to global markets.
The South West Main is one of the busiest sections our network and transports products from our customers Alcoa, South32, Griffin Coal, Premier Coal, Cockburn Cement and TransWA.
These customers transport bauxite, alumina, caustic, coal, lime and passengers across our rail freight network. Since Arc Infrastructure was awarded the long-term lease of the network, we've invested over $340 million into our infrastructure throughout the South West and Peel regions.
Beyond our investment in infrastructure, we're committed to contributing to the South West by employing and buying locally, and representing our industry by engaging with the Bunbury Geographe and Collie Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supporting and connecting local businesses across WA.
