  • In the Goldfields-Esperance region our teams manage the rail freight network extending from Kalgoorlie to Leonora and down to Esperance.

We transport Iron ore, nickel, intrastate and interstate freight for a range of customers including Minara Resources, BHP Billiton Nickel West, Pacific National, SCT Logistics and TransWA.

The section of the network also sees 20 passengers service per week on the Prospector and Indian Pacific.

Our Kalgoorlie and Esperance teams are central to Arc Infrastructure’s operations. They are responsible for the upgrade and maintenance of one of the busiest and most vital sections of the rail network, the Eastern Goldfields Railway (EGR).

Our ongoing investment into the optimisation and upgrade of the EGR and Leonora and Esperance lines ensures we continue to provide the critical infrastructure required to connect WA with national and global markets.

    our latest news and updates

  • We actively participate in the Goldfields and Esperance communities by employing locally, buying from local suppliers and getting involved in local, grassroots organisations.

Our commitment to community partners has spanned from being a sponsor of the Indigenous Parent Factor Program, partnering with West Australian Music (WAM) to produce Sounds of the Goldfields, and being involved with the Boulder City Soccer Club, Kalgoorlie Men's Shed and St John Ambulance Kalgoorlie.

This year, to celebrate the launch of Arc Infrastructure, the Goldfields and Esperance teams organised a team volunteering day to raise funds for the Goldfields Children Charity, an organisation supporting Goldfields families with financial assistance in times of need when their children are sick or injured.

The team decided to run a carwash in Kalgoorlie's towncentre and put on a sausage sizzle for anyone passing by.

With the carwash and a sausage sizzle, the Goldfields and Esperance teams raised $5,000 for the Goldfields Children Charity, and had a lot of good fun in the process.

Our employees regularly participate in employee volunteering, either through more formal programs, or by organising their own activities to give back to organisations which they want to contribute to.
