At Arc Infrastructure, we deliver major infrastructure upgrades that strengthen Western Australia’s freight rail network.
Every project is designed with safety, reliability, and long-term sustainability at its core, ensuring our network continues to meet the needs of customers, communities, and industry.
Where possible, we deliver projects through an internal delivery model, leveraging the expertise of our own teams to maintain greater control, consistency, and efficiency. This approach allows us to respond quickly to challenges, streamline decision-making, and ensure the highest standards of quality across every stage of the project lifecycle. By investing in our people and capabilities, we’re building a network that’s ready for the future.
Agricultural Supply Chain Initiative (ASCI) - Package 1
The ASCI Project is a major program focused on strengthening Western Australia’s agricultural supply chain through targeted rail infrastructure upgrades. By improving network capacity and efficiency, ASCI supports the movement of grain and other key commodities from regional areas to export markets, helping drive economic growth across the state. Delivered through our internal project model, ASCI demonstrates our commitment to investing in critical supply chains and building a network that meets the needs of industry now and into the future.
Level Crossing Improvement Program 2024 - 2029
The Level Crossing Improvement Project is a five-year program, delivered in partnership with Main Roads WA, focused on enhancing safety and reliability at level crossings across the Arc Infrastructure network. Through targeted upgrades, including improved signalling, protection systems, and crossing surfaces, this project aims to reduce risk for rail operations and road users while supporting the efficient movement of freight. Delivered through a collaborative model combining the expertise of external contractors with Arc’s internal capabilities, these critical improvements will strengthen the interface between rail and road and build a safer, more resilient network for the future.

Leonora Branch Line (LBL) - Leonora Goldfields Rail Terminal
Arc Infrastructure, Genesis Minerals, and the State Government have partnered to enable mining expansion and economic growth in the Goldfields region through the Leonora Goldfields Rail Terminal project. The agreement involves shortening the Leonora Branch Line by about 7 km to support Genesis Minerals’ Tower Hill gold project, while Arc will invest in a new open-access rail terminal east of Goldfields Highway. The terminal will include rail and maintenance facilities, Aurizon’s intermodal terminal, and space for future freight and train expansion, ensuring continued access for existing and new users. This project will create jobs, boost royalties, and improve safety for Leonora residents by removing six level crossings, demonstrating strong industry collaboration for regional development.
